Huge news today as Flying Sparks artist Jethro Morales just got hired by Marvel Comics! Contracts are signed and he finds out which book in December.
I'm so glad that Flying Sparks proved to be an excellent stepping stone in the industry. The quality of the book and story speak for itself and it's caused so much buzz since it first released that it's truly incredible. Our steady sales across multiple platforms got NOTICED!
As the campaign for volume 4 winds down, join us in congratulation Jethro Morales for his hard and excellent work, becoming the first artist from this indie community to break through and get seen by the big leagues for his talents!

You guys have been the best readers and supporters in the business, and I love all the messages about how the story's really paid off with all the set up we've done. It keeps us going as we are getting into the final volumes of our storyline.
When I started Flying Sparks, I had no idea if folk would relate to it, I just saw that Marvel and DC were not treating their characters as real, developing people, and I wanted to tell a story that captured the feel of when there was continuity, when change was REAL, when their stories wouldn't just be magically erased by some event.
From the reviews, your messages and continued readership, we've had a resounding success, and both Jethro and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
In Volume 4 we finally get answers about the mysterious Hooded Rogue who appeared in Volume 2. We learn about Johnny's origin. The ray gun and the alien ruby become so integral to the plot. It's ALL connected. Plus, we introduce a new, DANGEROUS villain both Meta-Girl and Johnny have to fight.

Our campaign is almost over for our new book. I've got Dynamite Thor 100% done and ready to send out digitally to backers as soon as all the funds clear from Kickstarter so you'll have some great reading entertainment on your Corona quarantine for backers :)
This is a really fun superhero book and if you enjoy Flying Sparks I guarantee you'll appreciate the writing on Dynamite Thor.

Kickstarter Has Shadowbanned My New Project

Dynamite Thor is completely unsearchable on the site. You can't look up "Dynamite Thor" and find it. No potential backers can can't discover it through perusing the site. It's not listed on Google as a consequence.
For all intents and purposes, the campaign has been erased.
I've put in a ticket to Kickstarter support in case this was a simple error, but I don't think it was. I believe I've been targeted and my book's been suppressed intentionally.
It means the only people who even have a shot at seeing my project are my prior backers (you) through posts like this, or people who get the link from me directly. It's a killer to a campaign.
Despite all of it, we're still really close to funding. We need just under $900 to get there and ensure this book's success. The platform can't slow us down.
If I can't get this resolved, I'll move future projects to IndieGoGo, but for now it's about getting this comic book made, helping great artists like Donald Kent be able to earn money off his hard work, and making sure you can read what is going to be the most fun superhero book of the year.
Please back today and get us over the finish line. Send a clear message to whoever is causing me problems that it won't stop the signal, and we will continue to make and support great indie comics.
Thanks everyone for all you've done so far. Being this close under these conditions is truly amazing and such a testament to our comic community's strength.

We're really close. About $1,500 until we have the Dynamite Thor graphic novel funded and ready to get into your hands.
