Quick Update On The Books!

Hey all, hope you're doing well.
You'll probably notice a lack of surveys and the like so far and that's because I've been waiting to get all of the digital rewards done-done before getting that to you.
With the stretch goals, there's a LOT, and of the stretch goals, Meta-Girl: Origin short comic and Dynamite Thor #1 were not finished at the end of the campaign. We just got the first one in today and done, and Dynamite Thor just underwent formatting and is getting approved now for the correct sizing and like by my publisher before we get it lettered. I hope to have that wrapped up this week or the next at the latest, and then upload all the digital rewards to BackerKit and send out the surveys.
That will leave only printing left to do for the book! We're in great shape to get this delivered to you quickly.

Only 40 hours left in the campaign! We are SO close to the $15K stretch goal where you'll get for the first time ever a brand new Flying Sparks short comic, Meta-Girl: Origin. So many people asked me for her origin after the first book came out that I wanted to listen to you, my readers!
Jethro's art has progressed so much too. This new art is gorgeous and I really want to share it with you all!
Here's how you can help get us there:
1. Add-ons. There's a lot of options. You can get extra copies of any of the books listed on the campaign by adding that dollar amount. I'll combine shipping on them so don't worry about that. Next, T-Shirts and Posters of our covers are available at $25, and if you want to get all of them we have a special deal. Scroll down on the campaign for more details. In addition, all of my novels are up available signed. I'll send a signed copy to you for $25. I set all the prices on most the stuff the same to make it easy. If you want to check out my #1 Bestselling Steampunk series, this is a great place to start.
2. Spread the word on Social Media! Take the link, tell your friends how this is is an awesome comic and how we've got a last minute push to try to get to $15K. Every share helps! You matter!

$12,000 Stretch Goal: Unlocked!

We made the next stretch goal which is going to add a beautiful sketch Gary Shipman did of Meta-Girl to the back cover of Flying Sparks Volume 2 (this will be on both the regular and variant versions).

Which I will soon have colored by our colorist Emmanuel Torres in short order.
New readers to Flying Sparks know that you'll get an extra short story digitally too of Meta-Girl vs. Dynamite Thor -- a golden age hero remade for modern times, who will be getting a book of his own this summer, written by me and drawn by Donald Kent.
Just around the corner is the $15K stretch goal where everyone will be getting a BRAND NEW short story by Jethro and I, Meta-Girl: Origin, going over how Chloe first experimented with her anti-gravity boots to eventually become Meta-Girl. The first page is here for your viewing pleasure:
Jethro's art keeps getting better and better. I love watching him improve as we keep progressing into the Flying Sparks world.

We Hit $10K!!!!
This is so exciting.
I can't wait to bring you all the awesome indie comics from so many wonderful talented creators. These are some of my favorite books out there right now.
We're hard at work getting everything wrapped up on the volume. I'm teasing the images in less than full pages because this volume packs SO MUCH emotional intensity and there's so much that happens it's hard to tease without spoiling too much.
There's still some great stretch goals that are very attainable now that we're over the $10K hump. At $12K we have some beautiful Gary Shipman art to add to the back cover, and (unlisted on the stretch goal as of current) we will add a couple of pin-ups to the book as well like this beautiful piece by Timothy Lim:
But what I'm most excited about is $15K where we'll be making a new digital comic Meta-Girl: Origin, showing her first experiments with her gadgets.

We are sooooo close to the $10K stretch goal. This one's a big one because we've gotten 200+ pages of bonus comics for you from both me and amazing talent from around the industry, including my friend Chuck Dixon, the creator of Bane from Batman!
Make sure to share the campaign around, just a few more backers will get us there! This campaign is going strong through your word of mouth!
And also, if you were interested in stretch goals, now's a great time to up the pledge for add ons. Everything's really easy -- T-Shirts and posters are $25, and you will be able to select any of the great covers of Flying Sparks when the Backerkit Surveys go out at the end of the campaign.
