We Are Funded!

Thank you so much everyone! This makes for my 3rd successful crowdfund since I started in July of last year.
I'm so humbled by the outpouring of support, and honored that you choose Flying Sparks over so many other books out there.
All week since this launched I've gotten so many comments about how volume 1 was one of the best books of 2018. It's really a dream come true to be able to make this book a reality.
This comic community is the best and I couldn't do it without you.
Now onto the stretch goals! The value only gets better as we reach each one. First is the interior chapter covers. Here's what they'll look like for this volume:
Issue 4 will have a special guest variant by my favorite webcomic artist, Holly Laing.
Issue 5 we return to Jethro with this breathtaking work:
And Issue 6 Jethro really lays on the feels with an homage cover referencing an old Spider-Man book:

Add-Ons And How They Work

I know a lot of folk came over from IndieGoGo, and over there you could make different tiers, back multiple times -- but Kickstarter doesn't work that way.
You'll notice that I don't have posters or t-shirts or swag on the side bar. I did this intentionally to keep it easy to read through what books you want and not have to worry about different packages.
Kickstarter allows what's called "Add-Ons".
Add-ons is just that -- you add a certain dollar amount onto your pledge and you get extra items. For exmaple, If you got the digital version for example of the volume 2, your pledge is $10, and if you want to "add-on" a t-shirt, you go to your pledge and add in $25 to the $10 pledge and just click that you want to put in $35. At the end of the campaign, you'll be brought to a check out and apply your funds. It's simple.

Over 100 Backers - And A Villain Reveal!

We hit a nice milestone for the campaign yesterday!
It also means we hit our first backer goal. Everyone will be getting a PDF of the script of Flying Sparks Chapter 1 (or issue 1 if you prefer to call it), which will show some of the process behind creating this fantastic book.
I also want to tease a little of the book's contents and show you what's in store.
The blurb mentions new deadly villains.
I also mentioned The Hooded Rogue in the character bios section. You're probably wondering who the character is.
Here's what the character looks like. The Hooded Rogue throws energy rings (which can become tangible and pin people down) and teleport. I won't spoil more, because the mystery of the character is an important part of the plot.

We're less than $1600 from funding, and the campaign still needs your help. We're not getting any support from the big comic youtubers or creators this time around, it's going to be all word of mouth and the people.

Thank you everyone for backing the book and reading! For everyone returning from the first book, you won't be disappointed. I'm really jazzed about how the story develops in book 2 and think you'll enjoy it even more.
For new people just discovering Flying Sparks, welcome!
We're already 55% funded, and things pick up nicely here on KS once funding hits since everyone knows they'll get their products at that point. That's the goal at the moment and we can then work on getting to those awesome stretch goals, some of which are almost as exciting as the book itself.
Please share the campaign with your friends over the weekend and let them know this is the hottest new indie book on the market and they should get in on it too!
